As the door shatters when you touch its hand,
fearful wind slips through the unending rift.
Hinting its purpose, now fallen from lies
enslaved to mysteries kiss.
Beneath this obstruction lies immortal night
where you hide lurking in unending bliss.
A rose in gardens once ceased to be
whose thorn will bludgeon my fear.
As the door shatters its pieces will form
the soul lost lock on a soul lusting church.
Behind its shield and armor we hear
resent repeat its name
as regret repeats again.

Excellent medieval folk, IGR, & those with ears to hear. I love the sense of mysticism and deep, introspective ponder this album conveys, & the honest down-to-earth folky lyrics. Simply wonderful yet soulfully rich. Highlights for me are tracks 2, 5, 6, & 12. IGR truly capture what I feel is an authentic sense of a medieval bard at a woodland rill pondering the mysteries of life. Highly recommended. 8.5+/10. Alrihkh
Stark, folk-derived songs built on brittle acoustic guitars that conjure the image of a fire burning in the distance on a dark night. Bandcamp New & Notable Oct 8, 2022
It’s easy to get lost inside the rippling synths and electronic textures on the latest from Aisle Knot, a feast for the ears. Bandcamp New & Notable Nov 8, 2021
The Brooklyn group Aisle Knot writes hushed, mysterious songs that are charmingly rickety and grounded in surefooted melodies. Bandcamp New & Notable May 22, 2021
